About Cerebras Systems

Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest computer chip — the Wafer Scale Engine (WSE) — which is an entire silicon wafer turned into a single, massive AI processor. While NVIDIA's H100 contains 80 billion transistors, Cerebras' WSE-3 contains 4 trillion transistors on a chip 56x larger than a GPU.

The company's radical approach eliminates the communication bottlenecks that slow down traditional multi-GPU AI training. Instead of distributing a model across hundreds of GPUs that must constantly exchange data, Cerebras fits entire large language models on a single WSE, dramatically simplifying training and inference.

Cerebras made headlines with a $20 billion deal to provide AI inference infrastructure, validating the wafer-scale approach for production workloads. The company offers its technology both as on-premise CS-3 systems and through Cerebras Cloud, a managed inference service that delivers the fastest LLM inference speeds commercially available.
